8 BELL CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK

This superb English Chiming Clock is hand made throughout, even down to the door locks on the case! The beautiful hand engraved back plate is the most obvious visible sign of the very high quality of the entire movement, which like the case, is all hand made.

A selection of engraving styles can be chosen and an inscription to commemorate the clocks commission included in the design.

The movement has triple fusees driven by hand made chains, each being 6 feet long. The movement is made with quarter chiming on 8, cast and hand tuned bells, whilst the hour is struck on a ninth and larger bell and the chimes can be switched between Westminster and Whittington, or if you prefer, Westminster and St Michael.

The whole, being regulated by a recoil anchor escapement and Invar pendulum, is capable of very good time keeping.

The clock dial is traditionally produced with a matt finish inside the centre of the chapter ring although extensive engraving to match the back plate can be specified.
